Dangelico, there was zero chemistry in this book imo, it just felt forced. Marriage for One by Ella Maise, I enjoyed this one and it was cute but the whole stalking thing wasn’t romantic and felt super manipulative, which kinda ruined the story for me and I found it kinda creepyīut I still found the story to be cute in some ways. There’s honestly more reasons of why I didn’t like this book but I wanna keep this post as short as I can. Kiss an Angel by Susan Elizabeth Philllips, I didn’t enjoy this one much and at one point the H even admits that he felt like he was raping the h which really disgusted me and it felt like their relationship was just kinda forced idk, and the H’s grovelling wasn’t satisfying, he literally does the rape thing when h still hasn’t forgiven him These are the books I’ve read so far based on the previous posts I’ve seen: I know some people weren’t a fan of it but this book managed to keep me crying til the very end. I’ve tried a few and I haven’t enjoyed any of them as much as The Unwanted Wife which had grovelling for literally the whole book I’ve always been on the grovel threads to find a book with good grovelling. I’ve searched up previous threads about this book, looking for books similar to it that would make me feel the things I’ve felt in this book. I kept seeing it recommended on this sub and thought I would give it a go and now I can’t stop thinking about it. I read The Unwanted Wife close to a week ago and really loved it.
